I’m kind of addicted to the football championship, so here’s some useful stuff in regards to that.. stop reading if you’re not! 
ICS Calendar
Recently stumbled over this page:
www.andib.com… The guy there offers a nice iCal Calendar file that contains all the games of the WM2010, which you can easily import on your android-phone, Thunderbird/lightning calendar, and maybe even outlook, can’t say for sure, since I don’t have one handy…
2010 World Cup (Android)
This is my app of choose on my android phone. It contains a liveticker, a calendar and also a news part. All stuff can be viewed offline, whereas it doesn’t make much sense on the ticker

If I find a minute, I’ll also upload a nice little bash-script to build your own mail-newsticker, so you get a mail as soon as there’s a goal.
